1. The service

DocuVault provides free tools for working with PDFs, documents, images and data. The tools run in your web browser; your files are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us. You don’t need an account.

2. Your files and content

You keep all rights to the files you process. Because we never receive them, we can’t access, recover or restore them. Keep your own copies of important files.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the tools on documents you don’t have the right to use or modify, or to remove protection from files you aren’t authorized to open;
• use the service for anything unlawful, including infringing copyright or creating fraudulent documents or signatures;
• disrupt the website, attempt to break its security, or copy and republish it as your own service.

4. Signatures and legal documents

Sign PDF adds a visual image of your signature. Whether that is legally sufficient depends on the document and where you live. It is not a certificate-based digital signature. Check requirements before relying on it for contracts.

5. No warranty

The tools are provided “as is”. We work hard to make them accurate and reliable, but conversions, text recognition and redaction can contain errors. Always review the result before you share or rely on it — especially redacted, signed or converted documents.

6. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

7. Advertising and links

The site shows ads and may link to other websites. We aren’t responsible for third-party products, services or content. See our Privacy Policy for how ads use data.

8. Changes

We may update these terms or change and improve the tools. We’ll post updated terms on this page with a new date.
