About Sign PDF
Is this a legally binding signature?
This tool adds a visual signature (an image of your signature) to the PDF, which many everyday agreements accept. It is not a certificate-based “digital signature”. For contracts that require identity verification, use a qualified e-signature service.
Signing on a phone
Turn your phone sideways for more room to draw. You can also type your name and pick a handwriting style.
Your files never leave your device
Most online PDF sites upload your documents to their servers. DocuVault doesn’t. Everything happens inside your browser, so there is nothing for anyone to see, store or leak.
Check it yourself
Use a tool once, then turn off your Wi-Fi or switch to airplane mode and use it again — it still works. Developers can watch the Network tab: no file is ever sent.
Step 1
You choose a file
Your browser opens it directly from your device — like opening it in an app.
Step 2
Your device does the work
The processing code runs inside this browser tab. No server ever receives your file.
Step 3
You save the result
The new file goes straight to your downloads. Close the tab and everything is gone.
Frequently asked questions
Is my signature stored anywhere?
No. Your signature only exists in your browser while the page is open and is never sent to a server.
Can I sign more than one page?
Yes. Place your signature on a page, then switch pages and place it again. All placements are saved in one download.
Can I upload a picture of my signature?
Yes. A PNG with a transparent background looks best, but JPG works too.
