Editing an existing PDF vs. creating a new document
DocuVault gives you two powerful workflows. If you already have a PDF, upload it to add text boxes, erase typos with the white-out tool, add signatures, or insert images. If you are starting fresh or writing a report, use the Document Creator for real flowing paragraphs, custom headings, tables, and bullet lists.
Typography and styling controls

Frequently asked questions
Are my documents uploaded to a server?
No. All editing, rendering, and file generation happen entirely in your browser using local WebAssembly and JavaScript. Your files never touch our servers or any third party.
Can I erase or white-out existing text in a PDF?
Yes. Select the White-out tool to mask typos, outdated prices, or dates with the page background color, then drop a new text box on top to write the replacement text.
Can I export my document to Microsoft Word?
Yes. When using the Document Creator mode, you can download your document both as a high-definition PDF and as an editable Microsoft Word (.docx) file.
Is there a limit on how many documents or pages I can edit?
No. DocuVault is 100% free with no daily caps, no page limits, and no watermarks.
Does it support signatures and stamps?
Yes. You can draw your signature, type it in calligraphy styles, or insert official stamps like APPROVED, CONFIDENTIAL, or today’s date with one click.
